Properly Detailing and Cleaning Your Interior Carpet: A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Assess the Condition. Begin by assessing your interior carpet. Depending on the level of dirt and stains, you can determine the appropriate cleaning approach. Step 2: Gather the Necessary Products. For the lightly soiled carpet scenario, the video suggests using a single product - the P&S Double Black Carpet Bomber. Additionally, you'll need a few microfiber towels, a brush, and a shop vac for effective cleaning. In the heavily stained carpet scenario, three products are recommended: P&S Terminator (enzyme cleaner), P&S Carpet Bomber (emulsifier and cleaner), and P&S Finisher (peroxide-based cleaner and odor eliminator).
You'll also require a drill brush, a soft bristle brush, and an extractor.

Use a Detail Factory Tire Brush to agitate the cleaner, loosening dirt and grime. Wipe the carpet with The Rag Company - All Purpose Terry Towel to remove the remaining detergent. Finally, use a shop vac to extract any remaining dirt and grime from the carpet fibers. If you want to throw in a little extra for your clients or for just yourself, you can add some pattern lines as well. Get the Detail Factory Tire Brush and start from the bottom and just move up making the patterns.
Scenario #2 - Heavily Stained Carpet Cleaning - after vacuuming and getting rid of some of the dirt, start by applying P&S Terminator Spot and Stain Remover to break down all the stains. Use a Detail Factory Tire Brush to agitate the stain remover and let it sit for 30 seconds to a minute. Next, spray P&S Carpet Bomber generously across the carpet. Agitate the carpet with a The Rag Company Carpet Drill Brush, focusing on areas that are not damaged (don’t apply too much pressure on the drill brush). For damaged areas of the carpet, use a Detail Factory Tire Brush to agitate instead as it has soft bristles. Repeat the drill brush process if needed. Using a carpet extractor, thoroughly clean the carpet and extract as much dirt, grime and liquid as possible. Once finished with that, spray the carpet with the last step product which is P&S Finisher to eliminate the remaining chemical from re-foaming while eliminating interior odour.
Step 4: Finishing touches to eliminate any remaining detergent and odor, spray P&S Finisher Peroxide Treatment (peroxide-based cleaner) on the carpet. Use Detail Factory Tire
Brush to distribute the product evenly. For damaged areas, utilize a soft bristle brush. Ensure the carpet is evenly covered with Finisher. Reminder: rinse out the brush before using it with Finisher to prevent reintroducing dirt.
